This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love to create a beautiful classroom library for my second-grade students! One that has great books, is organized clearly for their convenience, and has comfortable seating to make them feel safe and ready to dive deeply into their books!
I also want to be sure that their calm down corner is filled with materials for them to utilize aside from charts to help regulate their emotions and body.
These bins, materials and books will help my students grow in their social-emotional learning and development, which is key to achieving their academic success.
By donating to my project you will be helping to ensure social-emotional development and therefore, academic success in many students this school year and the school years to come.
