Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My project is a "Classroom like no other". As an ELA teacher, I always wanted to have a conducive classroom. I always wanted my classroom to be a place where my students could learn and enjoy at the same time. I always want the best classroom for my students and in order for me to do that, I need support from you when it comes to materials that I will be needing to make my classroom beautiful, conducive, and like no other.

I believe that a beautiful classroom can increase students' interest in learning.

It encourages them to go to school because it's a good place where they learn and have fun at the same time. I have this student that once said to me that he wanted to stay in my room because he liked it. So I said to myself that I am going to maintain that room beautifully and in order for me to do that, I will be needing your help.

My goal is to use those materials ( succulent borders) to make a beautiful and colorful Bulletin boards. I am going to use those organizer desk to keep all the pencils, markers and crayons in order and those baskets will be used to keep all their things needed for groupings activity. Those notebooks will be used as their journal/diary writing.

I believe that if their things are organized in the classroom it will also influence their behavior even outside the school.
