it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am working on building a classroom library. I recently began teaching at a new school and to my surprise, the classroom didn't have a library for students to enjoy reading throughout the day.
My passion is to help students read and to help them learn to love reading!
Reading isn't a magic trick that happens over night. It takes practice and lots of it! If you want writers to get better at writing, then they need to write. If you want readers to get better at reading, then they need to read. This is why I want my library to be leveled. So no matter what stage my students are at in their reading journey, they will be able to find a book that they will have success with.
