This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are first graders who are learning how to read and get so excited when they hear me read to them. My project is filled with books from their favorite authors. I hope to fill my classroom library with all of the books that they will enjoy hearing my read.
My goal is to instill in them a love of reading which will help them become independent readers!
Every book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. All of these books and center activities have been chosen with my students in mind.
