My Students

My students spend the day looking for things to connect with.

My students are on the verge of becoming who they are.

They are smart and funny and full of excitement. Our school provides a place for the students to be themselves and express themselves freely. I have no doubt that we will help them express themselves and they will grow to their full potential.

My Project

My students might not have the access to current literature outside of school. I want to foster and share a love of reading and escape that books provide. My students will get the chance to connect to the literary characters in these texts. Hopefully they will find something to relate to.

With these books, my students will get the opportunity to experience something that they wouldn't anywhere else.

Reading will not only help with their other subjects, it will help with their emotional development.
