My Project

As I have transitioned from special education to a 1st grade classroom, I have spent the year learning what my students need and deserve to become exceptional readers. I strive to make an inclusive classroom where all my students have a love for learning and reading.

My students are more engaged in their reading when they have enjoyable books at their level and in a space they feel comfortable.

The products will provide materials for me to organize and share with students who are learning English and are at a lower reading level. It will also allow me to provide an inviting environment and space for students to read in with a rug and bean bag chairs.

I have seen how more choice in where and what my students read, the more impactful it can be. This will not only impact the students I have now, but all the little readers I will have in the future. I'd love for your help in providing more options to help us grow!
