My Project
The new books for our third grade classroom will help us establish a classroom library for a brand new group of third graders. We need engaging books that will engage students in a variety of ways and foster in them the love of reading.
I have chosen titles that provide opportunities for further reading on topics of interest we will study in class, as well as a variety of popular titles.
Included are books on socioemotional learning, social justice, history and government, and several biographies. Also included are popular books that will reflect diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. There are also a few novels on the list intended for read alouds and class-wide literature circles.
