Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will help organize and fill my classroom library with books and seating that will welcome them into the classroom environment. My goals for this project are to encourage students to come into my classroom library and therefore foster a love of reading. By including items like organization bins, foam times, and graphic novels, I am adding elements of their interests into the space to help build their reading fluency and desire to read. My students are big readers. They are constantly asking me if we have the next book in a series. I am hoping by providing them with more space and more books, my students will start their journey of being lifelong learners.
