Classroom Library Overhaul

Help me give my students an updated and diverse library! Books that will help my students grow as learners and be part of the community.

My Project

This coming school year, I will be moving to second grade with a group of amazing students, with various backgrounds and needs. My students deserve an updated library with books that will keep them entertained but also connected to others and the world around them. Many of my current books are outdated, damaged, or not at an appropriate reading level for my incoming second graders.

I work at a Title I school where many families do not have the extra time to read at home or to offer a variety of books to their children.

Our updated classroom library will provide a relaxing space and ample opportunities for my students to read independently or with friends!
