My Project

I work in the Special Education department of a smaller middle school. It's brand new, but because of the shift toward online learning, there is no library here! I think kids need a place to go and look for things that might pique their interest and engage their imaginations; it's too easy to get distracted by less productive activities online.

To encourage literacy at my school, I want to transform the blank walls of my classroom into a mini library!

I have books from multiple donors, but I don't have enough bookshelves to fit them; they're just sitting in boxes, not being read. I'm asking for help to get some new bookshelves and supplies for a mini book-return station where the kids can return books and I can store their check-out cards.
