it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a thrifty teacher. I understand schools work on a limited budget. For the last 11 years I have made it work with "stoop-ed" bookshelves and scavenged display cases to fill out my classroom. I have prioritized sourcing high-quality literature and crowd favorite reads.
BUT I have hit my limit on wobbly bookshelves!
I am tired of covering sticky-outy nails with duct tape. I have had it with the IKEA bathroom caddies holding my chapter books. I have a masters degree!
Help me buy some solid, wood bookshelves for our classroom library. We have a wonderful collection of books and the students love to browse and hang out and read. Help me buy non-wobbly, non-used bookshelves to display our treasures. Students deserve a high-quality classroom environment!
