Help me give my students different reading leveled books in our classroom library.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Gross's classroom raised $252

My Students
My students are comprised of fourth and fifth grade struggling readers in a small rural town in Ohio. They work very hard and want to do their best during their intervention time. They are very engaged and creative in all of their work!
My students enjoy hands on and engaging activities!
I am very adamant about engaging students, differentiating my classroom and activities, and allowing for hands on discovery. They are not able to participate in as many of these activities that they could simply because there is not enough of these materials available to them.
My Project
My students would benefit from having a classroom library full of different books available for them to read. They are able to go into the library daily and choose which books they want to read. They know how to find different books based on category and they know our classroom expectations for the books that they borrow. These books can also be utilized in my classroom as I can use them for different lessons and read-alouds in both whole and small group settings. These students will be able to listen to our stories and complete activities to go along with the books that we read.
By providing these books in my classroom, my students will have a print-rich room with various reading opportunities and levels.
They would be given options to choose from in the library and read something that interests them. This would foster them with lifelong learning and an excitement to read the new books available to them at various reading levels.
