My Project
Our kindergarten class is slowly building up a classroom library. It is one of their favorite times of day to explore. Students read at all different levels. As students begin to read, they are able to build confidence as they know what reading level and/or genre they are capable to read.
Book bins can make it easier for kindergarten students to have access to the correct books and reading level.
This will eliminate down time as students know which book bin to look for in our classroom library. In addition, this will give students an opportunity to learn about symbols and labels, which is another topic they learn in kindergarten.
