I am a Kindergarten Young 5's teacher at MES. I want to engage my students in learning that is play based, research proven, and developmentally appropriate. Students in my class are high level thinkers exploring the world one day at a time!
My Project
Please help me give my students individual book bins and classroom library bins that will be full of books to engage their interests and love for reading. Students will fill their individual book bins with leveled readers, decodable readers, and emergent books that capture their interest. I want my students to love reading and feel connected to the books in our classroom! I also want them to become independent readers that try out our reader's workshop strategies on their own and with classroom partners. Book bins will help us meet these strong reader goals.
