This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I believe that a cozy and beautiful reading area will motivate my students to read more. I am asking for help with providing my classroom library with a nice and sturdy rug so they can sit and read. I also included a nice border to place around the billeting board behind the classroom library.
As a reading teacher, I believe this will help my students become better readers as they choose to spend more time reading.
The way we utilize the classroom library is when a student needs a book, the student goes to the classroom library and picks one to check out for the week. Then when they are finished, they return the book and pick another.
