it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hello everyone, my class needs your help and they deserve every ounce of the help and love!
They have many different disabilities and learning during this hard time is tough, but they’re motivated to learn and do their best!
I am a special education teacher in a very, very low-income area. It is a Title I and a Title 3 school in the New York City Department of Education. My students, like many others, are trying to navigate through learning to the best of their ability during the pandemic.
My Project
Even though our students are learning partially remotely, my whole class is working in person now. Due to the pandemic, us teachers lost the funds we would receive each year to help create an organized classroom for our students. That being said, I am asking for some essential items to allow for our students to have the best learning in the classroom. Being a teacher during this time is tough, however, we do it for the kids. They deserve the world and especially at a time like this, we need to create a home of a classroom for them!
