Classroom Instruments

My students need a clarinet for our classroom so that they can find their musical talents in an experiential way.

My Students

These students come from a low-income, urban area where they may not get the supplies or resources they need to be as successful as other kids in the area. The school's mission is to create a well-rounded, college-ready student. Although, the school is new and so are some of the programs. It's growing, but currently the resources cannot keep up with the student population.

If the students can get the resources needed, the program that we are currently building will be able to enhance opportunities to provide the education the students deserve within our school.

My Project

Our classroom is in need of various instruments to start teaching children the basics of playing an instrument. Our class will greatly benefit from any instruments we can get, but our goal is to obtain them one by one. We're going to start with this one, and as we get funding, we'll begin projects for more instruments for our students.

These instruments will create a nurturing band environment where they can learn how to play and how they can come together as a group and play excellent music.

These students would love the opportunity to explore with instruments in a hands-on environment.
