Bring music to a brand new Music program! Help us provide classroom instruments for our middle school musicians.
We are a Title 1 school and many of our students get little opportunity to experience music.
This is the first year the school has had a Music program and we are looking to give our students the tools they need to create music in this classroom. They are eager to learn and express themselves, but do not have the tools to do so.
My Project
With these instruments including rhythm stix, bongos, and an African Talking Drum, our students will be able to play along with world music recordings, create their own compositions, and even speak without words using an African Talking Drum. These instruments will give them an opportunity to be creative and express themselves in new ways.
Funding our program will provide instruments for students who may never get to hold an instrument again.
We want to inspire creativity and life-long learning and appreciation of Music.
