This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help give my students access to supplies that are harder to get from school budget. I have added physical hygiene products, feminine care products, and snacks to make sure that my students are ready to seize the day and feel physically and mentally their best. This year I have noticed several students have been struggling to stay clean or purchase the items they need to feel comfortable during the school day. I also added snacks and lemonade as motivators to get kids to come into school who have low attendance or skipped breakfast. Thank you for your help as I gather these necessities!
