Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I need to bring wellness, inspiration, and community in my classroom. All these materials will help students with their emotions when they feel overwhelmed. The engaging liquid sensory viewers will help them calm down and focus on breathing.
The weighted shoulder wrap will help students calm their nerves and ease anxiety.
The book, tiles, stress balls, and posters will help children to calm down and regulate themselves when their emotions are too strong or when activities become too much for them. I hope to create a calming corner for children to sit and relax.
