My Students

My students this year are full of life and thoroughly enjoy being in the classroom. The students come from varying life backgrounds, including students that have just moved from other countries. All of my students learn and experience learning differently. My goal as an educator is to help them discover their own learning style and create an environment that creates success. Students are quick to give compliments and help, showing their care for others.

My students are brought together because they love to learn.

I am lucky to have such a wonderful classroom environment with these students, no matter their varying academic levels. I hope to continue to cultivate a classroom environment where each student is given opportunities and choices!

My Project

All of the students in my classroom learn differently and thrive in an environment where they are given choice. The cushions and end table provide students with opportunities to move around the room for group or independent work. Both of these items also give students the ability to create an environment that best supports their learning style. The cushions and tables provide collaboration spaces and create a realistic environment that prepares them for their future.

Giving flexible seating helps students thrive, while also teaching them responsibility and self-control.

Another thing we are focused on in the classroom is mindfulness. By adding a salt-lamp, we create a relaxing and calming environment for students to work in.
