Help me give my students the opportunity to start and maintain a hydroponic garden!
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Haferbier's classroom raised $176
This project is fully funded
My Project
My students love hands-on activities, so I am trying to provide them with another opportunity to start and maintain a hydroponic garden throughout the term.
Growing plants in the classroom was an incredibly rewarding experience for my students last term, so I hope to keep it going throughout the rest of the school year.
In order to keep it going, I will need to purchase nutrients and grow pods to replace the old ones.
Help my students learn about photosynthesis and carbon sequestration by creating an indoor garden! Not only will they enhance their STEM skills, but they will be able to grow their own food when they leave my class!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
