My Project

My middle schoolers work hard every year, and with the pace of our curriculum, try as we might, the job of learning can’t always be “fun.” (Such is life. “Work” is not always a good time.)

But after a year of hard work and state testing, my students and I have some discretion in how we spend our last days together as summer vacation approaches.

It’s time to just enjoy our time together while learning. Fun is possible! Middle schoolers rarely have the time to just be kids and have (organized) fun, but with your help, we can make that last week of school a little more about social-emotional learning. And maybe they’ll learn about gracious winning, gracious losing, and how “it’s all about how you play the game.”
