Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love to play board games! When the students are done with their classwork they are allowed to have free time. This is a device free time where they must do something that is not dependent on electronics.
Building blocks and drawing are alright, however the few board games we have are always chosen first!
I love to watch them play these games, they teach so many important social as well as educational skills.
They have even started looking at the games in the store, and they come ask me if we can get specific games for the class, which brings us to this moment where I am asking for your generous donation.
There is nothing quite like the sound of children playing, laughing, and learning! Thank you for your consideration.
