Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My day is always rewarding. Teaching English Language Arts and social studies is fun and challenging. Every child is so different and it is a joy to get to know and develop personal relationships with them all.

My students are inquisitive and always excited to learn.

They love reading, participating in Socratic seminars, and learning about the dynamics of different societies. My students have so much potential and thrive in an environment that is structured and promotes diversity and creativity.

My Project

The curriculum Wit and Wisdom has been an asset in helping my students to better understand texts, to listen with wonder, and to use their observations to their benefit. Even so, with the abrupt change of circumstances due to the COVID Pandemic, there are a few supplies that my students need in order to be successful.

This furniture will help my students feel comfortable and motivate them to attend class fully engaged.

The spacious tables and chairs will be used so that students can complete their work safely and comfortably.
