Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach at a Title I school that has a high population of English Language Development students, as well as students with diverse learning needs.
The goal for this project is to have classroom furniture, such as chairs and lap desks, to support students as they navigate their learning as incoming fourth-grade students.
Since a lot of my students prefer differentiated seating to complete their classwork and projects, I believe being able to sit in a space of comfortability will help advance their learning as they learn the English language and fourth-grade-level material.
