My Project
I would like to give my students more seating options in the classroom. Flexible seating is a must for my students to be as comfortable as possible while learning. Floor seating is perfect for students who need to be closer to the front. The oversized chairs are imperative for students who need to recline while reading. The materials I have chosen for this request will allow for student choice, collaboration with others, and movement throughout the day to improve student focus. I have also requested some materials for STEM bins. The magnetic tiles allow students to build, and quickly revise their building plans. The K'NEX building materials are a great fit for my students with limited mobility to construct objects. These materials will promote creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning.
Since returning to in person learning from the pandemic, students are needing more support to stay engaged in the learning process.
These materials will help to build a strong classroom community where students have choice and tools to support their learning and growth.
