This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we wrap up another successful school year in third grade, I am already thinking about the start of next year- when a new group of intelligent, and eager learners begin their third-grade journey. Our classroom inventory on daily essentials is running low. I'm reaching out to you wonderful donors here on Donors Choose in hopes that you can help us begin next year with all the supplies we need to be successful.
Essential items like pencils, glue sticks, sanitizer, tissues and disinfecting wipes will help set our students up for success on their first day of third grade.
Making sure each student has the items they need to start out the school year is so important for students to be in a ready to learn mindset. I like to have these items readily available in my classroom that way students can feel at home and welcomed into our classroom community.
I'm also seeking some bulletin board paper and boarders. I would love to provide my students with a decorative space to show off all their beautiful schoolwork!
In the past, I've purchased these items on my own, but with your help, we can ensure that all students have equal access to what they need in order to be successful each day at school. Your generosity and support for our classroom essentials project is greatly appreciated and will help create a warm environment for our new students. We would like to thank you for your support on providing us with our everyday essentials!
