This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a first-year teacher in a self-contained autistic support classroom looking to restock my room with essential supplies that keep my classroom running smoothly.
It is that time of the year when we are running out of much-needed school supplies like pencils, erasers, glue sticks, and markers.
My students require lots of tactile learning to meet their needs, and these supplies are essential for their progress.
Additionally, my students do weekly cooking lessons as a part of their life skills curriculum. We go through lots of paper plates, cups, and bowls to make these recipes and are in need of a restock.
Lastly, to keep my students as healthy as possible, I am requesting more hand soap and tissues, as these are vital to keeping my classroom a safe and healthy learning environment.
