This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As part of our upcoming study on the Lunar New Year, our students will be exploring the rich cultural traditions, history, art, and customs associated with this important holiday. To bring this celebration to life and ensure a deeper understanding of the Lunar New Year, we need some basic school supplies to help our students fully engage in hands-on learning experiences.
We are requesting your support in providing essential classroom supplies like construction paper, chart paper, glue and scissors that will allow our students to create cultural projects, design lanterns, write traditional New Year wishes, and more.
These supplies will help them explore the artistic and festive side of the Lunar New Year while integrating what they learn into creative expressions.
By providing these supplies, you will help us create a vibrant and engaging learning environment where our students can truly immerse themselves in the traditions of the Lunar New Year.
