I teach at a Title I school, and most of our families are considered low-income. These supplies will take the burden of purchasing new supplies off the families and make it so all students have the same supplies daily. I never want a student to worry if they don't have a pencil.
I work with a diverse population of students who have varying needs and benefit from interactive lessons.
The supplies I'm requesting include classroom items used to organize our supplies and display boards. This helps to keep the students on task and ready to learn. This is especially important for students with disabilities and English Language learners.
