My Project
The school I teach at is a Title I funded school and the majority of our families are considered low income. Due to the pandemic, our students have experienced learning loss. This is unfortunate since they were already behind when compared to their peers. These supplies will take the burden of purchasing new supplies off of the families and make it so all students have exactly the same supplies to use each day. These materials will help my students be successful at completing tasks and learning at school. If we have students participate in distance learning next year, they will be provided the same supplies as well.
I work with a diverse population of students who have varying needs and benefit from interactive lessons.
The supplies that are being requested clip boards and a bookshelf. All of these items will be used during interactive lessons or to benefit the students in the classroom and to help the students stay organized.
