Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Everyday my students are asking for essentials! With Covid funding ending our tissues and disinfecting supplies have diminished and will sadly not be replenished. We are trying to be mindful of germs, but it is very hard to keep the classroom cleaned as we do not have the supplies anymore and I sadly cannot keep buying them for my class. Having wipes and cleaning supplies is crucial in cleaning up after ourselves while eating but they are also essential to have our room be germ free. Classroom supplies don't just stop at cleanliness, but also workwise. My kids need colored pencils, notebooks, dough, and crayons to complete their daily classwork.

Each start of the year I try to get to every sale to get supplies for my classroom such as notebooks and art supplies, but they also do not last long and need to be replenished often.
