This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In this project, I am requesting classroom essentials needed for the new school year. Materials include highlights, dry erase markers, folders for organizing student work and filing, and other miscellaneous materials.
My goal in the new school year is to be more organized and help students organize their work for open house.
Providing folders for students will help with organizing their work and will allow for easy display. I will be able to file work to be taken at the end of the semester as well. The paperclips will be handy in this task as well.
When reading and annotating new texts, students utilize highlighters while reading. They will also use colored construction paper for class projects and during art time. I also use a laminator in the classroom from time to time, so more laminating sheets will be very useful to my students.
