This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Through this project, I hope to get classroom essentials that my students can enjoy on a day-to-day basis. If my project is funded, all the materials received would be enjoyed by my current and future students. All the materials listed have been chosen thoughtfully, which include cleaning supples and daily tools (sharpeners, pens, markers, highlighters). The item I am most excited for and hoping to receive is a Swifter! My classroom was recently updated with hardwood floors that I would like to make sure is maintained all year long.
These materials would ensure we keep a clean classroom for my students to learn in.
My students and I have established a routine in making sure our spaces are tidy, therefore this addition would be great!
In addition, the miscellaneous supplies would be used during Art and English class. When drawing in Art class, my students prefer to follow guided art videos with a marker so their art looks more defined. The highlighters while annotation texts/articles in English class; this tool would help my students highlight key ideas and terms.
