This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are sweet, driven, smart 9, 10, and 11-year olds from the South Bronx. They come to school excited to grow and learn every day. No matter what is going on in their personal lives, they come to our classroom happy and full of love for each other.
My kids learn best when they have the opportunity to work together to create plans, ask questions, and solve problems about the world around them.
They are on their way to becoming the future leaders of our country and I'm honored to be a small part of their journey.
My Project
In order to keep ourselves organized and ready for each and every school day, we need a few essential supplies. The requested caddies will help us keep track of our pencils and pens, scissors, glue, and sticky notes. The seat sacks/book baggies will ensure that we always have our reading books handy. It seems as though we can never have enough paper! so I have requested a case of white paper and eight reams of colored paper. These resources enable us to color code our assignments, and print out our research and reports regularly. It will also help our families and teacher correspond regularly via classroom newsletters.
Staying organized and well stocked is essential to our success in the classroom.
These resources will enable my students to reach their full potential without worrying about searching for their books and pencils before they can get started.
