This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are sixth grade students studying ELA and social studies. They are members of a bilingual school. Although my school provides us with essential materials, we still need a lot of other things in order to start off the year strong.
My students are enthusiastic learners who deserve to learn in a classroom environment with as many materials as the surrounding suburban school districts.
Please help us start off the year strong with by contributing to this essential project!
My Project
These materials will help my classroom be an inviting place to enter for my students on the first day of school. Students need colorful paper and poster board to make projects, post-its to record their thinking, pens, pencils, and markers for daily activities, clipboards and cushions to work comfortable from anywhere in the classroom.
We like to sit on the rug in a circle, but my students are too big to sit on the floor.
Therefore, these "gamer" chairs and cushions will help make this environment comfortable and more conducive to learning. Please help us start off the year strong!
