My Students
So close, and yet so far! Our classroom is so fortunate to have a working printer and copy machine, largely due to the generosity of Donors Choose members like you. These machines improve the instruction and time-management of our classroom tremendously, but are now running low on ink.
I teach 3rd and 4th grade in a highly gifted magnet.
My students are identified as having an IQ of 145 or above, and have the potential to be tomorrow's leaders. One third of my students are English Language Learners, demonstrating their brilliance despite a language barrier. Because of their highly gifted identification, I make every effort to differentiate their curriculum to best suit their diverse needs. They are exceptional, but not just because of their intellect. They are truly a joy to know and I feel incredibly fortunate to be their teacher.
My Project
Having a supply of these essential materials will ensure that our program is uninterrupted and that the equipment we have come to rely on works when we need it. My students have been eagerly mastering our technology and are learning new ways to publish materials and produce work from their computers. While we try hard to conserve paper in our classroom, occasional copies and printing of work is necessary and betters our program in indescribable ways.
Though these products may not be glamorous, they are essential to the fluidity of our program.
If I am prepared for a cartridge change, we lose no time and the learning continues! Thank you so much for considering our project.
