Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am blessed to have outstanding students participating in our computer science classes and after-school Robotics and Racing clubs. My students creatively design logos and other materials to promote our club. However, we do not have a laminator to protect my students' creative works and are running short on other classroom essentials. We are requesting a unique product, a laminator. This laminator machine is compatible with laminating pouches from the size of business cards to the size of A3 paper, boasts a quick warm-up and fast laminating speed to boost your efficiency and Protect and Preserve your Important Documents such as cards, presentation materials, and photos and our student created stickers.
These products will be a game-changer for my design team when creating stickers and logos for our racing cars and promoting our club.
It would also be helpful for my robotic teams. Our senior high school is an inner-city Public school. 100% of our students qualified for free lunch and supper, which hopefully tells you everything about their financial background. However, they appreciate the exposure to STEM programs, and I have highly talented students. I genuinely believe I can offer more STEM programs with more financial support.
The TEN 80 Racing Challenge team won multiple awards at the Ten 80 National STEM League Finals, including the Rookie Award for Data-Driven Design, third place in two races, including a semi-final finish losing to the eventual champion, and an impressive 10th Place overall national ranking in their first appearance at the national competition, hosted at Texas A&M University.
