Classroom Essentials for Our Future Leaders

My students need a carpet, markers, paper, and other classroom supplies to be creative, free thinkers, collaborative, and comfortable in our classroom.

My Students

Imagine having the ability to give back to the community you grew up in . . . I have the humbling opportunity to work with children and their families bringing experiences and resources to them. I work at a wonderful, well-kept gem in the city providing instruction to a group of eager, curious, and beautifully intelligent students. My students are captivated by books and intrigued with numbers. We use every opportunity to make real world connections.

My students are coming from very diverse backgrounds, and I want them to come into a welcoming and warm environment.

My goal is to provide my students with the best learning experience possible. By providing my students with the necessary tools to be successful, I am maximizing on not only the learning experience but the social-emotional growth of the students as well.

My Project

Having the materials that I requested such as the classroom rug will allow us to gather to learn and share experiences and information. It is important to have a common meeting place that we can work together and improve our skills. Students use the rug to socialize with one another and be comfortable while completing activities and engaging in learning experiences.

The writing materials, including markers and colored paper, will greatly enhance the learning experience for the students in this program.

Students will use the materials to be organized and share their thoughts through the use of materials. The color copying paper will be used to communicate with families and for special activities in the class.
