Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students work hard in my math class everyday and as the year progresses, I have noticed an influx of students needing to borrow pencils and markers to get through their day to day math tasks. With more supplies comes the need for organization and essentials. My project consists of necessities that are needed in order to keep my class flowing at a productive and efficient pace.
Students need to be provided with the opportunity to come to class without having to worry about being with out supplies.
I am asking for magnetic clips to hold the pencils students can borrow during class for their note taking. In addition to needing these clips for pencils, we use markers to check and revise our work. The Mr. Sketch markers will be used for the students to borrow during our homework checks and revisions. With these supplies comes the need for storage and proper labeling of the storage containers which is why I am requesting the label makers and label adhesive. These things will help with labeling the storage containers, the kids workbooks, binders, and any other things we need to label throughout the year. In addition to providing these supplies for my students, I have always provided a birthday basket for my students to choose a small birthday gift during birthday announcements. I usually keep a variety of things in my birthday basket and this year, my birthday bracelets were a huge hit and I am running low. I need to replenish my basket to keep the smiles on my students faces.
