This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These are essential materials that I have noticed my students need and have been worn out over time. Classroom desk dividers are excellent to use when testing. Classroom sharpener is important as sometimes they break down. Having colorful pencils in the room and giving them to students motivates them to write and work. A file cabinet to file student work over the course of the year. This allows students to see the progress of their work from the beginning to the end of the school year. It would be great to have in class. My class is also in need of student headphones. Not all students have the resources to purchase their own headphones and need for independent time such as reading on Epic, recordings of their own work and much more! My classroom needs a document camera as the one that is currently being used freezes constantly and students have to wait for long periods of time.
