Help me give my students the easel pads, headphones, and pencils we need to succeed this year. We have been needing essentials for too long. Every item requested is going to be so valuable to our learning.
My students live in high-poverty sections of the city, and they attend an urban public school. They face many hardships outside of school that make it challenging for them to stay focused on the importance of education. However, they take great pride in their work and strive to be successful. These materials will be utilized daily to enhance their learning and my teaching. Small teacher dry erase boards will allow me and my co-teacher to help our small groups visually, while keeping our students engaged. The chart paper will be instrumental in creating anchor charts with my students and allow them to create some of their own. Our pencils are essential for practicing our skills in Math and Writing, and headphones will be used to have technology not be limited to being silent. Not having to ask our families to donate these materials will be the best feeling. So that parents know their children have what is needed to succeed
