Help me give my students access to cleaning supplies to help prevent the spread of germs and help us replace broken furniture in our room! Our bookshelves have been broken for over two years!
My classroom has severely lacked bookshelves for years. I bought some my first year teaching that have fallen apart and are not mobile at all, so at the beginning and end of every school year, I have to move them off and on. My shelves have also fallen, and I've needed to fix them using makeshift tools. As an ELA teacher, accessing books that interest students is crucial to my job! I also have another larger bookshelf that holds all the materials students need to be prepared for the day. Two of the shelves are falling, and it is very wobbly!
My goal for this project is to give my students the classroom they deserve, including a clean classroom without collapsing bookshelves.
My brilliant students have gotten even more involved in their independent reading, and they deserve to have a clean room (including supplies necessary to clean it and stop the spread of germs, like Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, tissues, and hand sanitizer) and properly working shelves to peruse their next read. Please help me do that!
