Help me give my students PaperPro Booklet Stapler to create student books and journals and classroom mailboxes to store and to keep their amazing work nicely organized.
It is one of my teaching goals to reach out to every one of my students regardless of any language barrier. My group of English Learners come from very diverse families and more than 70% of them are of one or more minority backgrounds.
They are part of the intensive Dual Language Mandarin Program that spends a half-day immersed in English instruction and the other half-day immersed in Mandarin instruction.
The majority of my students are visual and tactile learners. They learn best through various hands-on and visually-guided activities. This means they love to work with projects that involve learning and experimenting with new and authentic materials.
My Project
As a dual language Mandarin instructor, it is one of my responsibilities to come up with meaningful resources and materials that maximize students' learning inputs and outputs.
Aside from the classroom set of textbooks, Mandarin teachers often have to create various learning materials, such as homework, classwork, projects, and many more, based on district provided language standards.
This year I want to create student journals for students to write and to draw their days of learning at school. Since I have to translate the journal layout in Mandarin, I will have to create the journal pages from scratch and then print their out to make booklets. To expedite this process of book making, I am requesting a booklet stapler to help make a lot of booklets with efficiency. With the booklet stapler, I will have many opportunities to make other types of journals for different subject headings such as Science and Math.
Since I teach two different grade levels or classes next year (3rd and 6th), I will also need two classroom mailbox storage to keep and to organize students' work to eliminate mess and confusion between two classes.
