Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Why do I love my students? They show me every day what strength, empathy, and resiliency look like. I want to give them a room where they feel safe, appreciated, and above all else a place where they feel encouraged to take risks and be confident.
Each classroom resource plays an important role in helping my students thrive.
For example, the short table and flexible seating will be utilized during Universal Access small group time. Students will use these pieces of furniture as they collaborate with their classmates at a center that was especially designed for them.
Every resource, when used intentionally, becomes a bridge to deeper understanding and greater confidence. I’m committed to using them to create a warm, rigorous, and supportive environment where every child feels valued and capable of success.
