My Project

I am teaching my fifth graders about the importance of money. Through a classroom economy, my students will learn the value of a dollar and what it means to save and spend responsibly. I am trying to set up an incentive store and need help getting some of their requested items. All help is appreciated. They will be learning about how their actions have consequences as well as how they can own their resources through the idea of renting their desk and earning a wage for being at school and following the rules. They will also learn how to save responsibly for the things they really want and how to budget for their goals and necessities.
