This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a reading interventionist at a Title 1 school. I work with small groups of 1st-5th graders who are reading 1-4 years below their grade level. We have four teachers in one classroom. We each have our own table area, but my students can see the students in the other group on our side of the room. This can lead to a distracting learning environment. In order to grow and progress, my students need the best learning environment possible.

This classroom divider would be a wonderful way to block the other group from our view.

My students would have a more private learning environment with less distractions. The divider is also a whiteboard and will provide a surface on which my students can practice writing and can use magnetic letters.
