it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have the privilege and honor of teaching the best 6th graders in Ridgewood, NY! These kids are the sweetest and want to learn! Unfortunately, these children are behind in the covid-gap.
One way you can help close the gap is to provide dictionaries to my students!
The dictionaries we have are extremely outdated and old. The bindings are falling off, and the words are not relevant. I need new and current dictionaries to help my students understand synonyms, antonyms, homophones, prefixes, and suffixes. Dictionaries are also an excellent way for my students to expand their vocabulary and language skills during a critical stage in their literacy development.
