My Project
Decor is vital for students in a classroom to help them learn and at the same time try to pique their interest in subjects. Classroom clocks, lettering, board paper, and heigh charts are new decorations that I would like to introduce into the my classroom this year.
These items will help students learn about time zones, heights of famous and historical people and be appeasing for the students' classroom setting as well.
Having several clocks set to different time zones will be a way for students to understand different cultures and locations of several cities. The height charts will be used and rotated out after each lesson to see the heights of various people in history. Having a visual representation of how tall George Washington was, how short James Madison actually was or to see how students compare to Rosa Parks' height is a way for students to visualize people in front of them.
